In Monster Inc., Mike and Sully discover positive emotions like happiness and laughter supersedes the power of negative emotions like anger and fear, and we began to understand emotions emanate some type of mysterious energy and this energy can do amazing things. Only through someone’s strong belief, dedication and ability to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, do items take on a life of their own, but this explanation only brings on more questions for me. When these items minds just spawn into the world what are their first thoughts? What personality is created? Specifically I wonder: why did Buzz believe he was a Space Ranger?
