A severe flash warning has been in place for gale force winds on Friday and has been extended until 9 Saturday morning. There is another in effect for high swells and that's till 5 Saturday afternoon.
Friday's gusts have seen debris caught in trees, scaffolding looking rather unstable and cyclists battle the wind, however, the RGP reports few incidents.
