Type A Rifles is a company we got turned onto by a couple of our viewers. It was a company we had not heard of, and we are very glad we got in touch with them. Type A (you may also see them pop up as BG Defense) is a high end manufacturer of AR-15's. We also have some AR-9 variants, as well as some varying calibers of the AR platform. Almost everything you see on this gun they manufacture at their machine shop (not the industry norm). This is a 11.5" Pro model. In full disclosure, after the review process had wrapped, I called Type A and requested them send me an invoice, and then said to just keep the gun. So yes, the gun ultimately was free (minus accessories).
