Deadstick: Bush Flight Simulator • Playtest Demo Gameplay (HOTAS + Track IR)

Описание: I was invited to a playtest that is currently taking place (22-26th May) of the demo of Deadstick. I have to say the game is really promising. The career mode is fleshed out with a proper story and many mechanics of maintaining, upgrading and interacting with your bushplane. The performance is the most glaring issue, but keep in mind my PC is not new - it's a pretty old machine by today's standards and since this is still WIP, it may improve over time still.

I really liked that the game already supports HOTAS and Track IR when inside the cockpit, though interacting with the instruments currently is a bit cumbersome since you don't have separate mouse cursor when using TIR - you control your view with TIR and mouse simultaneously (interaction hot spot is always in the screen center) unlike in other sims like DCS/BMS/MSFS etc.

Other than that the game is really fun and engaging. Even basic stuff like pre-flight checklists, fixing up your aircraft, even refueling is superbly executed. MSFS could take notes.

This video contains roughly half of the content of the demo - I finished the rest of it off the record, but I can tell there is a nice plot twist, but I will not spoil anything.
