In the context of the various geopolitical tensions we are currently witnessing, it is worth remembering that decentralized ledger technology can be used to strengthen the resilience of a State and its citizens. Various solutions are possible in this regard. The presentation will present the concept of Asset Preservation Right, developed within the Institute of New Law. This solution involves the use of decentralized ledgers to safely store assets in the event of extreme events such as war or natural disasters. The presentation will provide a legal and technological overview of the concept.
