My first time cutting a premade doll wig (and setting realistic expectations)

Описание: There's always something new to try in this hobby... even after being part of it for so long, I'd still never cut any premade doll wigs. Just ones I'd made myself!

Since I wasn't content with the mature style of the alpaca wig I made, I decided to try cutting this wig that was a $5 doll show find to see if it would give me something a little softer. An important part of this was setting realistic expectations for what a cut synthetic wig would look like.

It still needs to be properly styled with a hot water treatment and gel or wax, but I am pretty sure it will meet my expectations in the end.

Have you tried cutting doll wigs before? How did it go?
