India and Nepal strengthen cooperation in connectivity, energy and digital payments

Описание: External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Nepal Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal held talks in New Delhi to strengthen India-Nepal relations.

The discussions covered trade, connectivity, hydropower, education, healthcare, digital cooperation, and emerging sectors like AI and startups. Both sides also launched a cross-border remittance linkage and signed an agreement on language technology cooperation.

India reiterated its commitment to supporting Nepal’s development and prosperity.
