Konkan region (or Coastal Maharashtra) is renowned for its coastal roads that are popular for a drive all through the year for self-drive cars, bikers, and cycling. The roads do not have much traffic, there are some spectacular viewpoint enroute and lush green countryside with a rural backdrop remains all through.

There are number of stretches that are interesting along the way, some even connected with each other via a ferry ride (that even takes cars).
