In this video, I visit Aveiro wich is a city often called the Venice of Portugal.
I spend some time walking around the city and exploring the streets before stopping at a restaurant for pizza where something unexpected happens! my pizza is served on fire. Definitely not something I had experienced before, and I had no idea what to do at first.
After that, I took a boat tour on Aveiro’s traditional boats. These boats were originally used to transport salt and seaweed harvested in the region. Since salt is now produced more cheaply elsewhere, they are no longer used for work and are mainly used for tourism offering short guided tours through the canals.
