Moragne and Chism, members of The Jackson (Tenn.) Chapter of the Links Incorporated, spoke about the organization and its upcoming events: The Jackson (Tenn.) Chapter's 60th Chapter Anniversary Commeration, which will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Unity Temple, located at 369 Lexington Avenue, Jackson, Tennessee.
The 9th Annual Holiday Emerald Jazz Brunch, November 2024, at New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church Activity Center, located at 54 Lawrence Switch, Jackson, Tennessee, 38301. The event is being held to raise funds to supply local schools with sanitizing supplies because of the flu season and the ongoing threat of COVID.
Dr. Moragne and Dr. Chism also spoke about the community programs The Links offer, how Links are chosen, why the organization was founded and why they accepted the invitation to join.
