As an equine veterinarian, I´ve come across many horses who wouldn´t tolerate injections, deworming, or who wouldn´t even let the vet come close.
It motivated me to start trying to find WHY, which led me to cooperative care. I found out that horses can learn to cooperate voluntarily, even in quite painful procedures such as injections.
This led me to start VetCareTraining - my online educational project where I teach equine cooperative care.
