You are joining me today for a mornings trotting with an Abu Garcia 506 MK 2 closed face reel. Sometimes when trotting on bigger rivers a centerpin just can't get you where you need to go. That's where a closed face reel comes into its own.
It's been a while since I have used one of these so I was a little rusty! but plenty of fish caught and an enjoyable days fishing in a beautiful setting.
