In an exclusive interview with the ANI, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh downplayed opposition’s claim about PM Modi’s tenure as the Prime Minister. While speaking to ANI, he claimed that PM Modi would be the Prime Minister of the country in 2024 and 2029. “The question of finishing reservation does not stand. There is no provision for reservation on the basis of religion in our Constitution. No reservation is going to be given on the basis of reservation. The process of reservation that has been going on until now, will continue and PM Modi has also been saying the same. The opposition is trying to mislead the people of the country to gain votes...Congress and its allies are responsible for giving birth to crisis of credibility in Indian politics… Being a senior leader of the BJP I claim he will be the prime Minister in 2024 and 2029,” said Rajnath Singh.
