Rasa Theory and Ānandavardhana

Описание: In the previous lecture, we saw that Sanskrit literary theoreticians from Bhāmaha to Udbhaṭa
reduced the scope of rasa to three figures of speech namely, rasāvat (rasa laden), preyaḥ
(affectionate utterance),and ūrjasvin (haughty declaration). In this class, we are going to take
a look at the theory of rasa as conceptualized by Ānandavardhana in his Dhvanyāloka.
