A combat system of robot wolves has attracted wide attention with its innovative concept. The quadrupedal robot is developed by China South Industries Group Corporation (or the CSGC).

They appear to be dispatched by a specially-designed carrier vehicle, in combat units such as a small squad, or cluster. According to the media, they are suitable for urban warfare, hostage rescue, clearing mines, border patrol and sniping missions. There are four wolves in this small team in the video. There’s a well-defined division of labour between team members.

One of them is the recon version, primarily for collecting information about the surrounding. Next we have the logistics version, for carrying supplies and ammunition. And of course, we have fire support variant, and you can see the assault rifle it carries. The fire support variant can use the information passed down by the scout to identify and take out any threat.
