Not only was I lucky enough to capture both photo and film for this incredible day, but the bride and groom are also very close friends of mine. Being trusted to document such an important moment in their lives, surrounded by their family, their roots, and the most beautiful destination, meant the absolutely world to me.

Their wedding in Jamaica was everything a destination wedding should be. Sunshine, stunning Caribbean views, emotional moments, huge amounts of laughter, and so much love from everyone who had travelled across the world to celebrate with them. It was one of those days where you could genuinely feel the love in the air from start to finish.

Ocho Rios gave us the most incredible backdrop for their celebrations, and being able to capture both their wedding photography and wedding film in such a meaningful place made this one of the most unforgettable weddings I’ve ever documented.

Destination weddings are something I absolutely love being part of, and travelling to capture love stories like this is a huge part of what I do now. Whether it’s the Caribbean, Europe, or anywhere else in the world - documenting weddings in beautiful places with the people who matter most is what it’s all about.
