Описание: Contender is a white shark who weighs in at 1,653 pounds. At 14 feet long, he is the largest male white shark ever tagged by non-profit ocean researchers, Ocearch. By temporarily capturing the shark, researchers were able to tag Contender so his movements can be tracked for the next 5 years. White sharks migrate in the Atlantic Ocean. Contender was found 45 miles off of the Florida-Georgia coast.
