Odisha Govt Reviews Paddy Procurement: Rice Millers Assure Full Support

Описание: The Odisha government has taken extensive steps for paddy procurement during the ongoing kharif season.

A meeting was held with Rice Millers Association and the Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister Shri Krishna Chandra Patra to discuss the smooth collection of paddy from registered farmers and timely payment of dues.

Millers assured full cooperation to ensure an efficient procurement process, while discussions also focused on protecting farmers’ interests.

The meeting saw participation from Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, Odisha Food Supplies Corporation MD Shri Sudarshan Chakraborty, and Rice Millers Association President Shri Mahesh Kumar Banshal, among others.
