Hey y'all! I've been saving a bag of butterfinger pieces for the perfect recipe, and after a long search, I found one. This recipe is adapted from Carlsbad Cravings. It was pretty easy to whip together, but waiting for it to chill was the hardest part, lol! (We froze it to speed up the process, but we had to wait a bit for it to thaw to cut it.) I'd definitely recommend it, I mean, what's better than homemade whipped cream, peanut butter, and chocolate? I hope you all enjoyed spending time with us in the kitchen today. Here are the ingredients! vvv
Crust:
-24 oreos with filling
-5 tablespoons of unsalted butter
Filling:
-1 tsp unflavored gelatin
-1 1/2 tbsp water
-1 cup heavy cream
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-8 ounces cream cheese, very soft
-1 cup powdered sugar
-3/4 cup creamy conventional peanut butter
-8 ounces (1 1/2 cups) chopped butterfingers (+ topping)
Chocolate Ganache:
-4 oz semi sweet chocolate
-4 oz milk chocolate
-2/3 cup heavy cream
-1 tsp vanilla extract
