A short film (narrated by Janice Long) promoting Sheffield as a potential home for the planned Channel 5 TV station.
The film promoted Sheffield as a venue for the creative industries. It features the Sheffield Audio-visual Education Centre (AVEC) and the Sheffield Red Tape Studios, Shown are Alan Fountain for Channel 4, Kevin Bacon of Comsat Angels, Dave Taylor of Fon Records, the Human League, ABC, Tim Strickland of Red tape Studios, Krush, Chak Time Bomb, Richard Kirk of Cabaret Voltaire.
Colin Pons of Sheffield Independent Film and Simon Reynolds of Steel Bank Films (includes a clip from Security - a Steel Bank Films Production), John Hanlon of Backyard Films (with a clip of a Kane Gang promo video).
