I noticed that my CV boots are worn out on the driveshaft and needed to be replaced. I did not want to spend the money to replace the entire driveshaft as the job would take a few hours and would be a lot more expensive that replacing the CV boots separately. Of course, if you order OEM shaft boots, you will still have to remove the drive shaft or axle and this is why I decided to get split drive shaft boots that do not require for the driveshaft to be removed. The rubber is clued together on the car and works perfectly!
