Описание: When building a sports model, you need data. Data for a sports betting model can be sometimes the most boring and challenging part.

Finding the correct, and accurate stats for NBA, NFL, MLB, etc. can be hard. But then once you find it, you need to get it into a place where you can normalize the data.

Rather than doing loads of copying and pasting, I will be walking through how to use a feature in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, to allow you to pull in data tables from sport stat websites.

You could also write a VBA piece of code to scrape, or python, or many other programming languages. However, not everyone wants to learn coding, nor has the time.

Using these features, these are already prebuilt controls from software companies. You can harness this style of data collection and get exactly what you want and fast.
