Here we see the Dyserth Line by bike. The line was built by Prestatyn & Cwm Railways & Tramways in 1869 (correct me if I'm wrong). The line was built from Prestyn to Cwm and Dyserth for mineral freight. In 1905 a passenger service started and was ran by an LNWR Steam Railmotor until 1923. All passenger services were withdrawn later in 1930. Freight continued until 1973 with locomotives as big as LMS class 5s taking on the line!
Hope you enjoy this video, which was filmed on 01/07/2017, where we ride down from the outskirts of Dyserth, past Meliden and into Prestatyn. Look out at Meliden (which is roughly in the middle of the video) for an old goods shed and loading gauge. We also see some class 221 Super Voyagers on 1A50 past Prestatyn returning to London Euston.
