In this video, I swap a 2000 Chevy Blazer rear end into my 1995 Chevrolet S10 extended cab 2WD, and it might be the best budget upgrade you can do for these trucks.

For under $600 total, this junkyard axle swap gave me:
Rear disc brake conversion
3.73 gear upgrade
Factory G80 locker
Wider track width for improved stability

Instead of rebuilding the stock S10 rear axle, the Blazer swap gives you better brakes, better gearing, and a limited slip/locker in one shot.

In this video I:
Remove the stock S10 rear axle
Swap yokes and set bearing preload properly
Prep and install the 2000 Blazer rear end
Finish with a short test drive
