Christopher's notes of remembrance about Martha Argerich:
Martha was so inspirational for me. She told her stories of her life and enjoyed to laugh. She knew the importance of that inner self, the spirit in harmony with music. "Always be true to yourself" I can hear her saying. I'm thankful for her thoughtfulness, her generosity. she understood the life behind the music, that life and our artistic-humanistic ideas inseparable. She touches the human soul with her legacies. Fascinating the intimate and extraverted nature she can bring out so naturally. I think, Martha always believes that the nature of the artist shows his true self. For vitality, for sharing love... Martha free spirit! Her freedom gives way to bursts of joy of creative fantasies, of ecstatic heights of glorious sounds. She inquisitively helps, compassionately, by wanting to help gifted musicians, even amateurs who don't play much. She looks for the soft spot in the performer to let them express their stronger sides, she is a loving god with experience to show her colors. All that rough is smoothed over by her compassionate side. But if she want to turn up the heat she's not afraid to let it rock a little. She is vibrate with intensity even in personal contact. The next conversation, the next word drawn the intensity and love closer to a new idea.

The Liszt competition finished. Today is the final concert. I got fourth prize which is nothing. It was good to play for Martha Argerich, who was impressed by me. It was why I came. I did five competitions, including Enescu and Busoni, and I'll tell you about the last one in Ascoli Piceno, where Martha Argerich was on the jury.
As we arrived in Ascoli Piceno and five days later, I was surprised to find out I wasn't on the list of contestants. Another surprise: I was supposed to start as number 1 in the order. I wasn't even dressed, but suddenly they decided to make me play immediately without any warm-up or time for concentration. [...]
The night before the competition began, there was a gala concert with Martha Argerich and Daniel Rivera.
So, I went and said "hi" to the organization. They said in Italian "No, no, no! No participate in concorso. But, congratulations about Pozzoli!!!" hahaha.
By the way, at the final concert I got a huge audience applause, bravos, and received the audience prize, and we had a great time with Martha Argerich afterwards. We talked straightly with each other about many things. [...] Agerich was very impressed by my playing, and she asked Lily to get in touch with her and meet while we'll be in Switzerland. We all had a great time and fell in love with each other.
Anytime we came to competitions, we gained friends on our side. For example, people from the public in the competition where I didn't get any money or prize and kicked out of the first round, became like our family [...]. We're in a very good mood right now. Best wishes,Christopher (~ Christopher to APB, Oct 4, 2009).

"I looked out onto the scenery, trees, mountains, sky, while I was eating. I will go to practice now. How about you? I'll be working on 3rd movt of Schumann. Today Martha is playing with Maisky some Beethoven variations and then her Schumann. I'm here. [...] I enjoyed all day with you. I look forward to tomorrow and I will try to find something we can laugh about. I think we have so much to be happy about. I'm here for you. I want to see and be with you that you have harmony and reflect the beauty around you. Love, Chris"
In this video Liszt and in the middle lof it
the last Christopher's transcription for piano solo of Schumann Concerto
which he never performed for public (yet). And it was the last what Martha and Christopher, with two pianos in the room, had in the hands at their last conversation. This video is a frame of the time or only "– The Moment is as a whisper Of the Man holding The Clock"
