The Access Design Standards are building requirements for City-owned facilities. They help to remove barriers the might prevent people with disabilities from fully participating in employment and City programs and services. These standards enhance accessibility by requiring design measures that exceed the Alberta Building Code.
The 2016 Access Design Standards were approved by Council on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016.
