Here's our family recipe for Pasta Fagioli or as we like to say Pasta "Fazool". Try it and let us know what you think? Your kids will love it!

RECIPE
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 pound of lean ground beef
2 whole carrots, diced
4 celery stalks, diced
1 medium onion diced
28 ounce can of diced tomatoes
2 cans (14.5 ounces each) beef broth
2 whole bay leaves
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 teaspoon of dried basil
1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can (15 ounces) of cannelloni beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 ounces) of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup of Ditalini pasta, uncooked
