🍪 RECIPE — 200g Batch
Ingredients:
~Wet Ingredients~
Oil – 60 ml(4tbsp-sunflower oil)
Powdered sugar – 60 g
(½ cup)
Milk – 30 ml(2tbsp)
Vanilla extract – ½ tsp
🥣 Dry Ingredients~
Maida (All-purpose flour) – 120 g
Custard powder – 15 g (1 tbsp)
Milk powder – 10 g (1 tbsp)
Baking powder – ½ tsp
Salt – 1 pinch
✨ For Coating
Normal white sugar – 50 g
(¼ cup) for coating
👩🍳 METHOD
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, add maida, custard powder, milk powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk well.
Mix Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, mix oil, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Make the Dough
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix to form a soft, smooth dough.
Shape Cookies
Divide dough into 15 g small balls, flatten slightly, and coat with white sugar.
Bake
Bake at 160°C for 15 minutes in a preheated oven.
Cool completely for perfect crispiness.
💡 TIPS
Do not overbake; the cookies will firm up after cooling.
If dough is sticky, keep it in the fridge for 5–10 mins.
Use vanilla extract (not essence) for best flavor.
You can add 1–2 tbsp more milk if dough feels dry.
