Crafting a Leather & Wool Bag for Everyday Wear (Two Styles & Machine Sew)

In this video, we're crafting a classic-style bag, combining fabric and leather. I came across this wool fabric ages ago at a fabric market. It's got this thick, sturdy texture that's perfect for something more substantial like a winter coat, but I never had enough to make one. So it has been sitting idle for quite some time.

When I was brainstorming for this project, this old fabric caught my attention again with its classic stripes pattern, which I thought would complement black, fine-lined soft leather beautifully.

I initially set out to make a shoulder bag, but during recording there was a bit of a hiccup with the steps, so I decided to start over. Not wanting to let the partially completed work go to waste, I decided to improvise and transform the first one into a crossbody bag. And that's how we ended up with these two bags in the video—similar in appearance but offering different carrying options.
