Lake Powell is the largest of the rare Florida coastal dune lakes that are found between Santa Rosa Beach and Inlet Beach. Lake Powell is located on the far east end of the 30A corridor which is the west end of Panama City Beach, FL.
Inlet Beach boarders the west end of the lake, the Gulf of Mexico is to the south and Carillon Beach is on the east end of the lake. Lake Powell occasionally opens up to the Gulf Of Mexico and their waters intermix as you'll see in this aerial video.
