However 2020 has brought challenges for us all and especially for the people of New York City.
In early April, New York State was losing over 1,000 people per day to COVID-19, with New York City itself bearing the worst it, and became the epicenter of the global pandemic.

With lockdowns to deal with this and cessation of most travel, it meant the food and broader hospitality industry was devastated.

This story and mini documentary during the COVID-19 Pandemic era, talks about how New York City's food industry across its four major boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and The Bronx), has responded through 2020, and maybe points to signs of how "The City" will re-emerge in better ways culturally post-pandemic.
