We save children’s lives by transforming pediatric heart care in underserved parts of the world. To save the lives of children with heart disease, Children's HeartLink partners with organizations to train medical teams, provide education and transform health care in underserved parts of the world. This short film features our team-to-team training model with our medical volunteer partners from Mayo Clinic and the pediatric cardiac team from Hospital da Criança e Maternidade in São José do Rio Preto, Brazil.
One in 100 children are born with a heart defect, and 90 percent of these children live where there is inadequate medical care.

Children's HeartLink has entered this video in the Consortium of Universities for Global Health 2017 Global Health Video Competition in partnership with the Pulitzer Center. Winners will be highlighted at the 8th Annual Global Health Conference in April 2017 in Washington, D.C.
