In the spirit of christmas, we've been working hard to keep bikes moving through the shop! We have a few bikes in the shop, some new and some that we just need to continue working on. One bike with an update is the turbo GSXR1000rr bike we've been working on as well as the land speed record motorcycle. We tried to get the wiring finished up at the KOG event since the wiring guy is out of texas. We got a few things finished up, but we still have some work to do. One thing being the fuel line we previously installed. We noticed it's way to close to the swing arm so we're going to put a shorter 90 degree fitting on there so we can clear it when he launches the bike and the rear end drops. The big thing in this video is the ZX14r engine that we're digging into. We're going to be doing clutch mods and a few other things to finish this bike up. We seem to be the zx14r oem engine rebuild experts. We build a bunch of these kawasaki engines in the shop. And as you'll see in this video, we found a few issues the further we dug into this bike. Issues with the clutch and with the pistons and the cylinder walls which you'll see in the video as well. The oil pump also had some signs of wear that we did not expect. Regardless, we'll be upgrading and replacing everything on these bikes to ensure they are good to go for the owner when they pick up!
