Power"Dances with Ignorance is the A part of the second episode of Season 3 of Pepper Ann and the fiftieth segment overall. It was paired with "Girl Power" and originally aired on September 18, 1999.


Summary

The class has to write a report on their family history for Mr. Finky's Social Studies class. Pepper Ann learns that she is 1/16th Navajo and is excited to celebrate her heritage, so she invites a Navajo family over to learn more about the culture.

But when she relies on stereotypes instead of learning more about the people, the Navajo family is justifiably offended.



Episode 2 Girl Power


Summary

Moose is excited when she finds out there's going to be a Tundra Woman cartoon. When she watches it, however, she finds out the producers have turned Tundra Woman into a "girly-girl." She complains, and soon she gets the town to stand behind her in support of what Tundra Woman really stands for.

However, the producers misunderstand her and make Tundra Woman a heartless animal instead.
