After an extensive exterior, interior, and technical rebuild, this Sweden Yacht is now fully optimised for both round-the-world sailing and short-handed offshore racing.

Originally built in 1989, this 41ft Sweden Yacht had covered many miles and had seen years of “hobby-technician” updates. It was time for a full transformation. The entire yacht (literally everything...) has been rebuilt.

A yacht that not only looks brand-new but is fully customised to the wishes of owners Liesbeth and Tim, created to fulfil their dream of winning many regatta’s (as the Scheveningen500), and sailing all the way from the Netherlands to New Zealand.

Highlights of this complete yacht refit:
• Underwater hull stripped and renewed with fresh antifouling
• Full hull, deckhouse & cockpit respray in nautical white and deep blue
• Brand-new Ecodek installed after a complete 3D scan
• Optimised deck layout for efficient short-handed racing
• Installation of a Watt & Sea hydrogenerator (‘James’) with custom transom fitting
• All standing & running rigging replaced
• Rebuilt electrical system by Stok Electric
• New B&G navigation systems for offshore autonomy
• New ceilings, floors, varnished woodwork & custom carpentry
• Former bathroom converted into a technical room
• Fresh upholstery & modern lighting throughout the interior

This refit showcases the Dutch yachtbuilding craftsmanship of Hutting Yachts, needed to bring this racer sailing yacht back to life.
