Join us on an unforgettable high-altitude adventure — the Weissmies 4017m traverse in the heart of the Pennine Alps, Switzerland 🇨🇭.
Starting from Hohsaas, we take the classic Trift Glacier Normal Route to the summit of Weissmies — one of the most iconic 4000ers in the Swiss Alps. Conditions on August 11, 2021 were perfect, giving us crystal-clear skies, great snow conditions, and stunning views from the summit.

After summiting, we descend via the South Ridge to Zwischenbergpass, taking a break at the cozy Almagellerhütte, before finishing our long day down in Saas Almagell — about two hours of scenic hiking through beautiful alpine terrain.

Start: Hohsaas (lift access)
Summit: Weissmies (4017m) via Trift Glacier Normal Route
Descent: South Ridge → Zwischenbergpass → Almagellerhütte → Saas Almagell
Duration: 1 full day
Conditions: Excellent
⚠️ Difficulty: PD / AD- alpine climb — requires crampons, rope, harness, and experience with glacier travel.
