F-Zero GX - Master Difficulty GPs with Blue Falcon

Описание: A casual first playthrough of Master difficulty GPs with Blue Falcon. I had such a good time with the story mode; why stop there?
Some of these recordings were the first win, or even a blind win like in Thunder Road. Generally, this wasn't done in one take - savestates were used to restart certain tracks until I was satisfied (hello Lateral Shift and Slim-line Slits); simply getting 1st was not always enough!
Machine settings were at 100% speed for every course.

I tried some new recording software; hopefully the video quality is improved over the last upload. Looks like YT still crunched it up a bit, but the bitrate seems better to me!
Most tracks were played and recorded at 1080p native resolution, but some tracks, especially Sand Ocean, weren’t running smoothly and forced me to drop to 720p temporarily.

Mute City - Twist Road 0:26
Casino Palace - Split Oval 2:11
Sand Ocean - Surface Slide 3:58 (Major de-rust going on here...)
Lightning - Loop Cross 6:39 (My first experiments with MTS; I didn't know to let go of the gas yet)
Aeropolis - Multiplex 9:28 (Even with all my mistakes, this track feels so much easier than when I first started playing the game!)

Big Blue - Drift Highway 14:16
Port Town - Aero Dive 16:06 (I admittedly threw my first run trying to do a rail slide finish...)
Green Plant - Mobius Ring 19:18
Port Town - Long Pipe 21:39
Mute City - Serial Gaps 25:00 (One of the hardest tracks in the game, but satisfying to figure out!)

:: EMERALD CUP
Fire Field - Cylinder Knot 28:19
Green Plant - Intersection 31:58 (Crazy bump from the CPU in this one!)
Casino Palace - Double Branches 35:03 (You can fall off the track if you go too fast on the outside bends!)
Lightning - Half Pipe 38:55
Big Blue - Ordeal 42:36 (Excellent track and awesome aesthetic!)

:: DIAMOND CUP
Cosmo Terminal - Trident 47:23 (Lot of room for risky shift boosts and huge speed exiting the jumps!)
Sand Ocean - Lateral Shift 51:11 (Beats the staff ghost time! One of my favorites; shift boosts are very satisfying to chain and this track begs you to)
Fire Field - Undulation 54:02
Aeropolis - Dragon Slope 57:00 (The jumps are fun to do well consecutively!)
Phantom Road - Slim-line Slits 1:00:36 (Very hard to beat the CPUs here... Building speed to take the jump at the start of the track is crucial to winning)

Aeropolis - Screw Drive 1:04:14
Outer Space - Meteor Stream 1:06:05 (Very cool! The arcade tracks don't slouch on visuals at all)
Port Town - Cylinder Wave 1:08:30 (I can't navigate this one for my life...)
Lightning - Thunder Road 1:11:19 (Fantastic track! A sight-read I'm proud of, too)
Green Plant - Spiral 1:15:29 (Prettiest track in the game! I could've raced much better, though)
