Christ Prayer Place is a full gospel fellowship founded by Apostle P. Gabriel in 1970 and was led by him for 45 years under his leadership. His son Pastor Samuel Polumuri is now the Senior Pastor, Pastor Richards Nathaniel is the Associate Pastor and Pastor G.P. Raju is the Assistant Pastor. With two main congregations located in East and West parts of the town is now the fastest growing church leading people in to a deeper understanding of the Word of God and intimate fellowship with the saviour Jesus Christ. The church is involved actively in Evangelism, Church planting and providing pastoral care for the believers. Pastor Samuel is also the Editor of a monthly magazine Suvisesham, which is one of the longest circulated Telugu monthly in the state since 1981. Catering to the spiritual needs of the Telugu speaking people of various regions of the world. Pastor Samuel is being used by God in a wonderful way and he tirelessly involves himself in preaching in churches, crusades and pastors seminars through out the year.
