Описание: the distant buildings looked like they were humming, almost like a hive, and they stood there as patient teeth, hostile columns of smoke and glass. the air smelled of wet earth and static. it felt full of intent from something unseen and meticulous. the sun was nothing more than a decoy, misleadingly rimmed everything in stained gold. the light that promised rescue but tasted of rust. nailed to a place it did not belong. it felt as though it had always been there, just beckoning me over the edge. and i fell for it, pulling into a bright, frightening nowhere.
