Ben Rowarth wrote Libera Nos for us in 2015, to mark 500 years since the birth of John Sheppard. Scored for 12 voices, Ben's piece is a response to Sheppard's settings of the same text. Ben incorporates some of the expansive textures and rich harmonies of Sheppard's music, while writing in his own refreshing voice.
