See artefacts from the site in Canada's Arctic where the crew of the expedition perished after they had to abandon ship. The Canadian Museum of Nature safeguards them for the Government of Nunavut.
Sir John Franklin led his last expedition to find the Northwest Passage in 1845–1848. One of the ships was found in 2014 off the coast of King William Island, Nunavut.
