'Converging interests & complicated times' surface in Jaishankar-Rubio meet

Описание: Ahead of delegation-level talks with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said India and the US have a "comprehensive global strategic partnership", which – "in plain language" – means the two countries have a "very, very deep" and "very broad-based" relationship that influences other regions and the world.

"That is because we have converging interests on many issues and in many parts of the world. I look forward to our conversation today. These are complicated times, but as strong partners, I'm very confident we'll have very open and productive discussions," he said.
