Even though I had to work, I had so much fun basking in the beauty of Seward, Alaska. The campsite had the most astounding views, and I could spot wildlife right from my campsite! I enjoyed watching the fishing and tour boats heading out in the morning and returning in the evening, and Frodo enjoyed hunting voles in the long grass.
I took a lunch break to hike one of the popular local trails, Tonsina Point Trail, and was so glad I did. The trail was great and salmon were running in the river at the end point (my end point anyway, the trail continues on). The views were breathtaking.
