I love giving talks on unusual fruit and veg and I love arguing with people at these talks who say they've grown the cucamelon and try to imply it's not worth growing! If they think that they're picking them wrong!
It's a great little veg (or fruit really) that will grow up around your other plants, brilliant in the greenhouse, but also great outside (just crops later). I've been growing them since 2014 and they've become a bit of a snacking staple in our house.
