Описание: A Spectacular Queensland Coast Anchorage, Yellow Patch. Yellow Patch is an inlet on the western side of the north-eastern tip of Curtis Island. Yellow Patch is known for its unmistakably bright yellow sand hill (a picturesque backdrop) and once you’ve navigated the mouth of the estuary system, it offers a comfortable anchorage for cruising boats. The channel into the anchorage is not marked and always on the move due to the sand flats constantly moving. The longer content video (see Link below) does contain more drone footage of the channel, filmed at the time of making the video. The water directly in front of the yellow sand hill is quite shallow. However, I did anchor as close as I felt it safe. Although only accessible by boat, there is a camping spot on a sheltered beach on the eastern end of the yellow sand hill.
