Mtende Village Commits to Ungweru’s Food Security Project

Описание: On 7th August 2025, the Area Development Committee of TA Chindi selected Mtende Village as the site for Ungweru’s Food Security Project, funded by Misean Cara. The project will introduce solar-powered irrigation, livestock pass-on programs, and cooperative farming to strengthen food systems and improve incomes.

During the community presentation, Mtende villagers affirmed their commitment to actively participate in the project and they pledged to work hard in their fields, construct livestock pens, and embrace irrigation farming.
