পানিবন্দিদের উদ্ধারে সরকারি-বেসরকারিসহ বিভিন্ন সমাজিক সংগঠন কাজ করছে। দুর্গতদের উদ্ধারে ব্যবহার করা হচ্ছে ট্রাক। উদ্ধারের পর ট্রাকযোগে নেওয়া হচ্ছে বিভিন্ন আশ্রয়কেন্দ্রে।
