The Rohanas are rotary forged. They start off as a cast face and essentially the barrel of the wheel is forged by putting the wheel on a steel mandrel and drawing the barrel into final shape with rollers applying a lot of heat and pressure. This keeps a high strength to weight ratio. Forged rims are made from solid aluminum that is heated to allow pressurized machines to shape the rims. Forged rims gets its name from the process of forging a single piece of aluminum into the shape of the wheel rims.
