Justice Sought for Naharlagun Tragedy as DC Announces To Constitute High-Level Inquiry Committee
Twenty days after three students lost their lives and two others were seriously injured at St. Alphonsa Public School, Naharlagun, a meeting was held today by the Deputy Commissioner to address the incident. The Superintendent of Police, DDSE, representatives of AAPSU, and the aggrieved parents of the victims participated in the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the families that all concerns would be addressed and announced that he would constitute a high-level inquiry committee to investigate the tragedy. This comes after the families submitted a seven-point memorandum calling for justice, accountability, and improved school safety.
