This is a peculiar cover I made for this wonderful song, where every instrument you hear appears on the screen! Everything was recorded live, on one take and no edits. I was very keen to put together a song, with an old fashioned way and an old fashioned instrumentation. So, the foreseeable acoustic guitar, tambourine, shaker and hand claps, are coupled with a vintage Stylophone, a Bontempti reed organ and a melodica.
The performances are not perfect, some times the sound is not perfect and for sure I can't feel the shoes of Leonard Cohen! But who can fill the shoes of the greats nowdays? At least we should try nonetheless...
Oh, and I don't claim any rights on music, lyrics or even instrument proficiency.
